Why visit TIFF
Thailand International Furniture Fair is one of the most attractive furniture fair of Thailand, hosted by Department of Export Promotion, the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, in cooperation with the Thai Furniture Industries Association, the Furniture Industry Club and The Federation of Thai Industries.
The global concerns about climate change have driven designers around the world to originate a new concept of furniture design in order to help raise public awareness on global warming. Such a concept has become a new trend in furniture design. To capitalize on this opportunity, the Department of Export Promotion has planned to arrange this year TIFF event under the concept of "Finding Green Piece", which is in compliance with the rising global trend. In addition, this year’s theme is considered a fitting continuation following the "Living a Green Live" theme in the previous year.
TIFF 2011 will pave the way for professional Thai designers to demonstrate their capabilities to the world, through collections of unique furniture designs or furniture items made from innovative, eco-friendly materials.
This year's event is anticipated to be the most comprehensive furniture exposition ever staged in Thailand. This expectation is to encompass the various aspects of the event including the number of participating exhibitors; revolutionary furniture designs; and, the trade and business opportunities it will present to international visitors and exhibitors themselves. In addition, TIFF 2011 will pave the way for professional Thai designers to demonstrate their capabilities to the world, through collections of unique furniture designs or furniture items made from innovative, eco-friendly materials. Visitors, of course, will delight in a wondrous array of furniture items, all of which come from leading brands and manufacturers.
Apart from Thai exhibitors, the event will also be joined by foreign exhibitors from neighbouring countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia. A total of over 220 exhibitors, manning 900 booths, will participate in this event.
